Hey, I've been trying to log on to the server from my laptop for quite some time now but I always get an instant disconnection and it displays End of Stream. I've gone through a few things I thought it might be but nothing has changed. What I have done: Uninstalled/Reinstalled Tekkit Uninstalled/Reinstalled Minecraft Uninstalled/Reinstalled Java Restarting my laptop Restarting the router (where possible, school internet = access denied ) Performed a system restore on my laptop to a point where the login did work Have attempted to log in from 4 different internet connections, 3 unique ISPs spread throughout Attempted to use older versions of the Tekkit launcher to connect My laptop is running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. As it stands right now I have no monitor for my PC as I just moved. The TV I was using as a monitor at my previous location wasn't mine so I couldn't take it xD. I'm expecting one this upcoming wednesday, but I don't particularly want to wait that long to be able to log in. What baffles me is that my PC, which is running the same OS (with the same updates), can connect on the same internet connection but my laptop throws a fit and refuses to cooperate. If anyone has any ideas or solutions to what the problem might be, it would be greatly appreciated! --Veliisha~
DERP! Turns out that after the system restore, I was using the wrong version of tekkit to try to log in with!! Problem solved, don't mind me!
